as a former manager of a small business, i can agree wholeheartedly that success or failure of that business is a simple mathematical process - practically identical to me managing my family&#039;s check book.  i am also smart enough to know that that is precisely where my area of expertise ends.  although i do my best to grasp the fundamentals of macro econ, it requires far more concentration than i am willing to give a subject that bores me.  what i cannot tolerate is the simpleton who thinks that since he can reconcile his checkbook that he has the answers to what is ailing our country&#039;s economy today.  

as always, it is a pleasure to read your words my friend.</description>
