Steve is Steve Eissinger, that’s me, born in the turbulent 1960′s, which formed so much of our current culture and zeitgeist.  

My love of writing was born in the 1970′s, when hair, clothes, and the rate of inflation were all larger than life.  Childhood confusion, normal in any era, was compounded by the confusion of an entire nation. To this day, I don’t think I’ve sorted out which was which. 

Since the 1970’s, my love of writing has been manifesting itself in small ways, delighting those who saw it and were entertained, but not those who didn’t, or weren’t. 

In addition to writing, I like to sing, read, spend time outdoors and in nature, gather with good friends, and think about a range of topics, including the scientific, sociological, mathematical, philosophical, and just plain fictional.  The things I like to think about, I’ll eventually write about.
